The Mini Prep Program

At Mini Prep, we specialize in crafting an enriching, ready for school, early learning experience tailored for children aged 2 to 6 years, pre school and Kindergarten to year 2 students. Our unique Ready for School program and Reading Recovery is more than just preparatory education; it’s a journey towards building a strong foundation for your child’s future.

The Founder

Sally

Sally is a leader in the field of early childhood education, with a dedicated career spanning over two decades. As the founder of Mini Prep – Sally brings her extensive experience and a deep passion for educating young learners to the forefront.

Background

Sally holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Charles Sturt University. Her journey in the early childhood education sector is marked by a commitment to excellence and a profound understanding of the developmental needs of young children.

Inspiration

In her years of teaching, Sally noticed a critical gap in preschool education. Many children were facing challenges in transitioning to formal schooling. This observation sparked the creation of Mini Prep. Sally's mission is to bridge this gap, offering a unique space where children can grow to be confident, independent, and develop a lifelong love for learning.

Hello everyone,

My name is Sioni, and I’m thrilled to join the Mini Prep team as one of the educators. I have a background in psychological science, specifically child developmental psychology. Currently, I’m furthering my expertise by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology.

My passion lies in nurturing the learning, growth, and development of children, and I am convinced that Mini Prep is the perfect place to achieve just that.

I believe in creating joyful and engaging environments, as I hold the conviction that fun is a fundamental component of effective learning.

In addition to my educational pursuits, staying active is something I love. I look forward to bringing this energy to our classes, ensuring that our learning journey is not only enriching but also vibrant and full of life.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and embark on this exciting educational adventure together at Mini Prep.

One on One Tuition

We want to support your child! One on one tuition will assist your child to catch up or get ahead and/or continue a journey of creating a love of learning that will see them be confident learners in the classroom. We consider each child as unique and understand they grow and learn at different times. We provide tailored learning sessions to meet the individual needs of each child. We are here to support and specialize in literacy, language, oral blending, segmenting sight words and reading.

Our tutors are all qualified teachers who have completed face to face screening, working with children check, police check, hold a first aid and child protection certificates along with a minimum of two (2) references.
